Application: This Wing is a direct replacement panel for the original Wing.
Durability: This panel is manufactured for road use with two full layers of matting used for overall strength. For extra durability, an additional layer of matting is applied on areas for the attachment points or where holes need to be drilled.
Bolt Holes: We don’t pre-drill any bolt holes, it is far better to line the panel up and drill the holes where needed, also any holes in the panel make it more fragile and susceptible to damage in transit. Bolt holes are marked in the panel which can be used as a guide. Tip: drill elongated holes to give room for adjustment when fitting.
Fitting: Most of the attachment holes are marked in the panel, drill holes to suit and fit as per original Wing, the existing bolts can be re-used if you wish.
Paint Prep: Firstly, sand the panel down roughly, then apply primer/filler – a rough sand down will ensure the primer/filler keys well. Sand down again to a smooth finish and finally apply top coat, either Cellulose or Two Pack can be used.
